Watering Sod – Best Practices

So think about your brand new lawn. Your professionals just left. It looks great. They brought their big fancy machines. Had their big fancy machetes to install the grass to a custom fit for your property. They even really sound like they know what they are talking about. They go above and beyond to respect your home and your property. Now they are gone.

Your left with your new lawn and you want to make sure you give it the bst shot possible to live.

Let me start by saying they grass/ sod we provide comes treated for bugs, weeds, and is already fertilized. You do not need to go buy any additional products for your yard. All you have to do is water.

For the 1st 2 weeks you want to water 2 times a day for 30 minutes. You want to make sure you completely saturate every area of your new yard thoroughly twice a day. When the first 2 weeks has gone by you can continue to do twice a day or go back to just once a day.

A great time to get bermuda sod installed is in the winter because the grass is already dormit. Less watering bills.
